ok who invited the dog!!!

Hi it's me Bailey again

So last night I was cuddling with my mom Beth, we were all nice and warm, well next thing I know baby A.J. shows up. So I gave him a break because he's still a baby. He gets all nice and warm next to mom. Who should show up next but Abby Rose. At least she's sitting a little further away. But then the one who doesn't belong and the one who takes up all the room is that dog!! She's always trying to get all the attention. At least Laney had enough sence to sleep somewhere else!

My own indoor Gym!

Happy New Year!

Hope 2012 is starting out as good for you as for me!

Dr Ken was a little late on his holiday present to me, but man was it worth waiting for! It's a real tree (OK, a large branch) for me to play on right in the living room! It's got a great view of the real trees (and BIRDS) next door at Governor Nelson State Park.

I couldn't have asked for anything else that is so such fun! I mean rolling things around on the floor, playing kitty hockey, retrieving, its all good but after a while a kitty needs some vertical!

I am trying to get Lance interested and Dr Ken promised to build some resting platforms between the branches.

OK, this has to be short and sweet as I just noticed a Cardinal in a tree next door...

Oh, I almost forgot... more indoor fun coming in March at 4 Paws just for cats. Stay tuned for... cat fitness & agility!

Got anything to eat?

Paris here, now that the tree is down I've moved on to sleeping and eating. Don't leave anything lying around that can't be eaten. If I can't eat it I will carry it around in my mouth. Plastic wrappers, toys, feathers, chips, chocolate you name it I'll try it.

Just ate dinner? I'll clean up the scraps! If you spill anything, don't worry I'll take care of it. Who needs a dog, when I'm around.

My mom has realized that my feather toys can't be left out without supervision. I will get them twisted around my collar, or around Don's tail, then I can chase him!

Enough for now, time for a cat nap!

Hi there. I'm Milo

I had a great Christmas and I'll tell you about it in a minute...but first, here's my back story.
Don't remember much from my younger days.  Somehow, I got lost, and the police picked me up and took me to this place where there were lots of other lost dogs and cats.  I felt like I was in jail.  I'll skip the details of that part of my life.  I really hoped someone would find me and take me home as being in a cage was not the most fun I'd ever had.  Anyway, I'm here to tell you dreams really do come true!  One day my future mom walked in and when she saw me, I think, humbly speaking, it was love at first sight!  The rest is history, as they say.  I ended up in my forever home and the three of us, my mom, dad, and me, are one happy family!

I loved it when my folks put up the Christmas tree 'cause it was really fun to lay under it and sometimes, when no one was looking, I took a little swipe at the ornaments, especially a couple of beautiful bells that my dad's sister brought us from Bahrain.  I liked the sound they made.  Anyway, I only knocked off a couple of ornaments (not the bells since that would be pushing my luck), and once they were on the floor, I was bored with them.  When my mom saw them, she hung them back up, told me I was a rascally kitty, and then we played with some toys that she said were more appropriate for kitties.

On Christmas Day, inside my very own stocking was a toy that is my favorite of all time...a soft little ball with fuzzy things on it.  This was the best present ever!  I played with it for a long time until I was so tired that I had to take a nap.  That toy was a real home run, my dad said.  It was a great Christmas!

That's it for now.  I promise I won’t be so long-winded next time.  I better go check on the birds and squirrels in the yard.  Watching them is one of my favorite things!  Stay tuned for more from Milo!

It's offical! my mom is the crazy cat lady

My name is A.J. I now live with my mom Beth and the rest of her herd. I'm named AJ because I look just like my sister Abby. That's why my mom couldn't resist me. AJ stands for Abby Jr. I'm only 8months old so I get into everything! I live with Bailey, Laney, Abby and that soft and furry Wicked. I like her the most. She lets me snuggle with her.

Holiday fun & chasing snow with Dr Ken!

Happy New Year!

Bug here, hope your holidays were as awesome as mine!

Dr Ken first took me to Bloomington Indiana for X-mas where his sister lives. She and her husband live in a much bigger house than Dr Ken with a HUGE Christmas tree! I had to share it with their two cats but I pretty much hung out under the tree and beat them to it so I could get the ornaments to swing first. It was great fun!

I also liked the nice walks we took outside at night to see the stars. I went for 2 trips around the neighborhood (at least 2 miles!) No real good trees to climb but it was still fun as it was brand new territory and I added two new states to my collection. The trip back was about 6.5 hrs but I slept most of the way. Dr Ken likes having me along to keep him company when he has to drive alone.

Then we headed up to Hurley, Wisconsin where Dr Ken likes to cross country ski. He snuck me into a nice lodge type hotel and I was really good not to mess anything up. I just curled up in the car while he skied and met some nice ski buddies of Dr Kens. It was sunny and nice and I had a great view.

After skiing one day we went to his friends Greg & Lori's ski lodge and there were 6 dogs running around. I had to show them who was boss a couple of times (and then remind one of them again!) You can see from this picture it wasn't real tough duty and I claimed a nice spot by the fire to keep them in line!  Rachel his daughter was one of my favorites as she knows about cats & dogs!

Hope you had great holidays too! Feel free to post pictures here or on our Facebook page!

Stay warm & happy winter fun!

Tree Down!!

Hello everyone, I've had a great Christmas and have many new toys to play with! Now for the fun, the Christmas tree is coming down! I think this is the best part. I help Mom take it down by smacking the ornaments around and chewing any string or plastic I can find. I can make flying leaps into the tree without knocking it over. I can pounce and attack the branches as my Mom puts them into the box. I cannot wait until next year! Maybe if I'm lucky my Mom will buy me my own cat tree!!
